Our Story

Hi, I'm Quinn 👋

By day, I help high school students navigate the nerve-wracking world of overseas university admissions — crafting strategies, coaching anxious teens, and convincing parents that yes, their child will be okay studying 10,000 km from home. It's equal parts counsellor, cheerleader, and sales pitch.

By night (and every morning at 7am), I answer to two far less reasonable bosses.

Meet Eeyore, my chronically unbothered 13-year-old grey girl who greets every meal with the enthusiasm of someone who didn't ask to be born,

andTigrou, my chaotic 10-year-old orange menace who absolutely lives up to his name.

Eeyore

Tigrou

For five years, I've fed them, loved them, and scrubbed out their bowls twice a day like a dutiful cat parent. I made peace with the fishy smell. I accepted the slimy residue. I even survived the occasional half-eaten mystery chunk.

But then came the morning.

Tigrou — unprovoked, unrepentant — tipped his bowl over right as I was rushing out the door. Food everywhere. Cat staring at me. Clock ticking. I cleaned it up, refilled the bowl, and left for work seven minutes late and smelling faintly of tuna.

That was the last straw.

Six months, ten prototypes, and one very patient supplier later, Zero Wash, Whisker Safe Food Bowl was born. A sustainable bamboo and resin bowl fitted with a compostable liner — you toss and go. No washing, no scrubbing, no tuna hands at 8am.

Because our cats deserve the best. And frankly? So do we.
